Bump in head?!

Question: There is this bump on the back of my head. It kinda feels like a bone. About 1/2 long...I've had it for as long as i can remember.
What is the reason for this? what could it be?

if you had an accident, that could be the cause, but i had the same fricken thing, with my thumb. it might be growth problems when you are in your mothers womb, like this guy with no arms
