Often occuring throat problem...?!

Question: well, i get a sore throat, or laryngitis, like.....once every 2 months.... thats , WAYY to often, right?
well, im used to it now, but im still concerened why it happens so often. it might be 'cuz-
*When i sneeze, I close my mouth, so no one can hear it, and so that nothing will "come out..."so it kind of stays 'inside' of me, which effects my throat., and hurts it alittle, you know what i mean?
*i sing,...Alot
* i talk...even more, i mean insanely alot, and very loud...
*for the passed 2 months, ive been screaming at basket ball games....
and thats all that happens that involves my throat. so what do you think could be the problem.? nd what can i do to stop it?
and, wehn i say often i mean really often, the nurse has even said that i came to her office monthly becuse of my throat..
i also get neck problem, which is at the same place as my throat.....?

It sounds like you're overworking those vocal cords. You need to rest them a bit and allow the throat to recover. Try a steam facial. Hot water in a bowl and a place your face over it and a towel over your head. Take some deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth. Avoid irritants such as cigarette smoke, but the absolute treatment is to rest the voice. It's the only thing that will help you to recover.
