Im so sick:( now i have a sore nose!?!
Question: I think i have a cold or the flu...I am coughing and now my head hurts so much from coughing..and my nose is stuffy...and now it hurts from blowing it so much....what can I put on my skin to soothe it?????

Vaseline, not vaporub, it burns!
I just got over being sick, I actually still have a cough. I was down for over a week, it really burnt me out. I stayed in bed from Tuesday 1-15-08 till Wednesday 1-23-08. Good luck getting better, I went to the doctor and got some antibiotics so you might wanna contact your doctor.
BTW, I was blowing my nose a lot also and it was really red and dry and sore and when I put vicks on it and it burned so bad. Vaseline worked better...

I always put Vick's in my nose when I have a cold and not feeling good. It helps me sleep better,also for coughing I will rub Vick's on my chest,it helps greatly.
A little Vaseline will help your nose feel better.

Tell me about it. I have been sick for the past couple of weeks. I have not been getting a lot of sleep. I am going to try and get some sleep this weekend though. You should try vaseline, that is what I put on my nose, and put some vicks vapour rub on your throat and chest. It may help. If you don't get better go to your doctor.
vaseline is best or cocoa butter
Try a zinc tablet which helps for skin problems like cold sores etc.
