Has anyone else have or ever had a bone spur?!
Question: I was just wondering,
I do and I have to wait until summer to get surgery on it because I'm playing softball in the spring. My podiatrist told me mine was slowly crushing the nerves in my foot so I can't walk all day (like go to an amusement park for example) without my foot hurting the next day, he also told me that I shouldn't wear shoes with straps right over it.

get a 2nd opinion before you have the surgery, I was told I needed surgery too, but went to another dr, he had me do stretching exercises, take some meds, and wear pads in shoes, now I dont need surgery, my spurs were really bad too. see an orthopedist not a podiatrist...
yeah my mom has a bunch on her spine. her back hurts ALL the time, basically 24/7.

if you need it now you should get it dont put your body under that kind of stress
I have one in my neck from an old high school weightlifting accident. It hurts when I get tense or wear heavy items, like leather apron, and takes a while for pain relief.
