Not possible. Although your circadian rhythm will be messed up, your body will eventually sleep, probably against your will. After long periods of no sleep, or very little sleep, your immune system will be compromised and illness is possible. You wouldn't function like a normal human being, you would be "out of it."

You will die from exhaustion.

You die.

You will become psychotic within days, and will die within weeks. Seriously. People have died from lack of sleep. Lab animals have been kept awake artificially, and the result is inevitably the same. Oddly, sleep is universal throughout the animal kingdom. It is considered to be a time of neuronal reorganization for encoding memories, but no one knows the method by which lack of sleep is able to cause either psychosis or death.

it definitly is not good to your health..

when it was the exam week, i tried not sleeping for 3 days but once the exam was finished, my body and brain told me that i really need to sleep otherwise i would just pass out or die...
sleeping is very important to people.

The longest amount of time that a human has remained awake was eleven days. (There is a Vietnamese man who claims to have stayed awake for 33 years, but his claim is highly unlikely, and has not been proven.) In lab studies, rats that are continually deprived of sleep die within two to five weeks, generally due to their severely weakened immune system. The point is, it is highly unlikely (if not impossible) to go for an entire year without sleeping and not result in the death of that individual. People who sleep less than four hours per night are three times more likely to die within the next six years.
Sleep is needed to regenerate parts of the body, such as vital organs and muscles, but especially your brain. If sommeone does not sleep or has a reduced amount of sleep for a long period of time, neurons in the brain will begin to malfunction. Sleep is needed to regenerate the neurons of your brain so that new synapyic connections can be formed.
Lack of sleep effects the part of your brain that processes language, so slurred speech, stuttering, monotone, or slowed speech, are common side effects. Sleep deprivation also results in the loss of speed and accuracy when processing other actions, such as math problems. Speech, novel and creative thinking are all delayed and often difficult for the individual. Judgement, impulse control, attention, and visual association are all impaired.
Hallucinations will also result from lack of sleep because "the neurons, under pressure to continue functioning but unable to perform optimally, create an image useful enough for a person to see most of his or her surroundings." Metabolic activities for normal bodily function also drop, sometimes as much as 11 percent. The number of white blood cells within the body decreases, as does the activity of the remaining white blood cells. The body also decreases the amount of growth hormone produced.
REM (rapid eye movement) sleep stimulates the areas of the brain used for learning and memory. When a person is taught a new skill his or her performance does not improve until he or she receives at least eight hours of sleep. An extended period of sleep ensures that the brain will be able to complete the full sleep cycle, including REM sleep. Lacking sleep, a person will have difficulty retaining any new knowledge or skills.
In short, if you do not sleep at all, it is highly unlikely that you will survive for more than a month or so. If this is a problem that you are having, it is strongly suggested that you seek out the professional assistance of a medical professional. There are medications available for chronic insomniacs that may help you to fall asleep.
