Can I transfer my Wal-Mart prescription?!
Question: I got a prescription for Chantix (stop smoking pill) about 7 months ago. The doctor sent in so I could get 4 more boxes (I box lasts about a month). Well I only picked up the one month and then stopped taking it. Now, I've moved and want to start again. Could I call that Wal-Mart and have the prescription transferred to another Wal-Mart in the town where I live now even after it's been this long?

Yes, they transfer prescriptions. Just call them and they will set it all up.
Good luck on the Chantix. My fiance has been taking it for one month and went from smoking a pack a day to 2 cigarettes a day. He is so close to being done- it works great!
yes you can but you don,t even have to call you can just go to the new walmart to get your precription they will do it all for you

I think you should be able to. Go to your new local Wal-Mart and they should be able to contact the old Wal-Mart to have the prescription transferred. Good luck. Quitting is hard.

yup you sure can. Just make sure you have the number to the new walmart where you want it transfered to. Call the old one and they will ask you for the new one and ta-dah!!! Your all done!
Yes of course you can. You should still be in their computer and all you would have to do is change your address. If not then sign up again.

but make sure that the wal-mart has that prescribtion for you though. You may want to talk to your doctor again and so will they just to make sure that its prescribe. be healthy
As long as the prescription has not expired you can have it transferred. On the box it should say, 4 refills by x/x/0x.
yes ,you call that walmart stores and ask for a transfer, with the proper documentaion it shouldnt be to hard
Yes you can. Sometimes you could get a gift card (who offers them) if you transfer your perscription.
Example: I've gotten perscriptions filled at Walmart and I saw a ad in the Walgreens flyer that said they will give you a 25.00 gift card to transfer. I've done that many times to get the gift cards. Some may say 20.00 and so forth.
You can transfer any active prescription, from any registered US pharmacy to any other registered US pharmacy. Why didn't you just call Wal-Mart?
Yes ,I used to work for Wal-mart and I've had my prescriptions changed before..it should take but a few minutes to get it transferred
