Has anyone heard of a person having two shunts?!
Question: My sister had the first one put in a year ago. The doctor wants her to have a second one. She is currently wheel chair bound. Therapist and doctors are afraid to let her attempt to walk, because she has no balance and suffers from dizziness. She has trouble remembering things, even if she has put on deodorant or not.

are these shunts going in her brain. Yes, I have heard of multiple shunts before, often they place them in different places because the original shunt is not enough. it is usually relatively safe and definately beneficial. will pray for you.

I HAD 7 SHUNTS PUT IN LAST YEAR. I ALSO AM WHEEL CHAIR BOUND. MY HEART IS FINE NOW. I SUFFER FROM A RARE BLOOD DISEASE. I HAVE TO BE ON OXYGEN 24/7. SHE SHOULD GO IN AND HAVE WHAT SHE NEEDS. THEY WILL HELP THE DIZZINESS MAYBE.
