Rubbing alcohol safe?!

Question: i went to get my makeup done and i noticed the lady used alcohol to spray on the cosmetics before she applied it to my face. she told me it cleans it. is that safe? i mean i'm kind of a paranoia when it comes to these things and i'm scared to wash my face thinking that the alcohol is on my face and i might ingest it or something....i heard it's poisonous. i know i'm being paranoid, but i would like some info to ease my mind.

Itwon't hurt you as long as it was dry by the tim eit touched your face. The worst that would happen is you might get a little dried out from it. It isn't strong enough to harm you. Be thankful that they are looking out for your safety from bacteria. Just to let you know though, rubbing alcohol isn't strong enough to kill much.

um yeah your being paranoid. wash your face.

First, The spray she used was probably diluted with water. Second, rubbing alcohol is perfectly safe. it is used as a skin disinfectant, and the alcohol actually evaporates within seconds, so unless you are drinking it, he is no need to worry about ingesting any. If you ever use those gel hand sanitisers (purell, etc.) they contain rubbing alcohol. Also, when you get a shot from the doctor, that little pad they use to wipe your arm before they insert the needle is soaked with rubbing alcohol. You will be fine.

you'll survive! now go wash your face..

some bums drink rubbing alcohol to get a buzz. You'll be fine!! The alcohol evaporates very quickly anyway.
