addiction goes a step beyond craving. When you begin to focus on the next time you will be able to take one, and your nerves flare up a bit until you do. and then things cool off till it is time for the next.
and even further down than that is dependence. When your life is centered around this drug and you can't function unless you have it in your system. Life becomes a conquest to get more. scary.
