Could some one help please?!

Question: Hi, for about the last 6 hours I've had bad cramping and gas, it started off earlier after I went out for a 15 minute jog, I got back and my insides felt real bloated after about half an hour of feeling bloated I started 2 get lower abdominal pains then followe by a little rumble kind of noise and then I had to pass wind/gas. This has been constantly happening for the last 6 hours, although now I don't have a bloated feeling just a random abdominal pain every couple of minutes followed by passing of gas/wind...Any ideas what this maybe?

Trapped wind from not breathing properly whilst running, food you ate much earlier digesting or lack of food which is more than likely the answer if you are starving yourself jogging then coming in and drinking a large amount of water

Have you been eating gassy foods lately? (i.e. green leafy vegetables, fried foods, beans)

IF IT CARRYS ON GO TO THE DOCTORS ....X

Well, according to my statistical data, I have done many researching and laboratory practice on the human body. Yes, I have dissected the human body at the age of 17 (youngest in the world). This advice comes from the truth: you should be fine after 12 hours of the beginning of the pain. Another possibility could be any injury that could have occurred around the diaphragm area or above. If you have gas, please call a doctor and ask about peptobismil!

Sounds typical of IBS .... can come and go at a whim as well. The gut mirrors emotions in many ways ( hence the term 'gut feeling' ) and perhaps this is a reflection of an increase in stress. I suggest that you simply monitor the matter but don't let it stress you further, that will only lead to a vicious circle of symptoms. If it persists and remains painful, a chat with your GP should put your mind at rest.

This may be "runners squits". I've had this before after going for a run...it's never lasted for hours though. Abdominal pain, gas and diarrhea can be the result of running too soon after a meal (the jogging can make everything shift through your digestive system faster than it should if too soon after eating).

Or it could be totally unconnected to the running and be something like lactose intolerance. Now I know from experience that this can cause hours of pain, rumbles and gas! Maybe try reducing or cutting out dairy from your diet and see if that helps things.

You've probably been swallowing air while you've been running. If you're not feeling bloated the air has gone through your stomach and is in your intestines now,so you won't be able to burb it up.You'll be fine later if it is that, and you can help the cramp by keeping warm and gently excercising the affected part. Lactic acid build-up in the muscles gives you cramp. You've over-done it a bit on the jogging. Take it easy, and if the trouble persists when you excercise, see the doc. You might have a problem with your blood circulation.
