There is no definate answer to that question. Blood pressure and heart rate can increase after smoking a cigarette; however, everyone's heart rate and blood pressure are different.
I don't understand the question about smoking and breathing through a straw.
People who have been intubated and put on a ventilator (a breathing machine) have described it as feeling like they are breathing through a straw..
