Question: does it really take 7 years for gum to produce though your body??I have been told yes and no,on webkinz in quizzy coner it said no but in gym class my teacher said it did. i don't know which is right. my mom said her tescher said that but my dad said his teacher said it wasn't true.i want to know but i can't figure it out.help!!!!!!!!!!plz!!!!!!!

No. I once fell asleep with gum in my mouth when I was little. I was too tired and lazy to get up and throw it in the trash so I tucked it between my back teeth and cheek. When I woke up, the gum was this nasty, naaaasttyy oozy liquid. It was disgusting!!
If just spit can disintegrate gum to that state, just think what stomach acid will do!!!

no it comes out in the next bowel movement you have cuz it can't be digested so it just comes out , ask any physician and they will agree with me; don't worry they just say that so you don't swallow the gum
no. gum is digested as quickly as any other food you eat. But is does digest about as well as corn, if you know what I mean. This was an old wives tail.
