There is a huge amount of differing opinion on this. Gastocnemius wouldn't have been my first thought though.
Some people have said the tongue, others the womb. One school of thought says that sartorius is.
Which do you think it is?
By the way, quadriceps femoris is not one single muscle. It is a group of four muscles at the front of the upper leg.
