Sounds like fever blisters. Because you had a fever and probally didn't get enough to drink you became dehydrated so your lips are very dry or blistered and when the blisters pop they have to be pealed. You could use vaseoline to help moisterize don't worry it will go away.

go.to.the.doctor.seriously.

bc the fever gives u dry mouth, therefore ur lips were very dry overnight.

Due to a high fever I believe.

I would not be on the computer right now...I would be running to my doctor!!

dry air and possibly your body was dehydrated.

You were Dehydrated!! SHould have drank more fluids!

It sounds like you had an allergic reaction to something. More specifically, something you ate. Think back as to what you ate.

Your not breathing from ur nose so all the air is going out and in through uur mouth making ur lips extremely chappped
Best of luck gurl who needs blistex_

If you had a fever it is very likely due to having a fever and possibly being dehydrated.

Probably a large amount of fever blisters or you bit your lips in your sleep.

Don't ask this on the internet.

Go to your doctor

You had an extremely high fever which acted similar to a "sunburn"...

First of all, drink lots of water. You're probably really dehydrated. Then, give the doc a call and ask for advice over the phone, and if you should come in to see him/her.

Sounds like you are running a high fever, go to the doctor, this does not sound good.

Dehydration from the fever. Drink lots of fluid and put vaseline on thme

How high was your fever?? Did you take your temp? I know when adults have high fevers higher then an average fever they can get blisters. You should get yourself checked out it might be something serious

more information is necessary. like what kind of blisters? What kind of scaly skin...you can do some research on line by figuring out a research category the go to google images, find pictures and make your own comparison.

I know you asked why did this happen, but what about, "How can you heal"

well i dought if it had to do with being sick but i woul say you were prolly sleeping with ur mouth open and ur lips got very very chaped. thats the only reason i could see. maybe you were licking your lips alot and they got very dry.

hope this helps

if you were sleeping all day and breathing out of your mouth, then your whole mouth may have gotten dried out. It happens to me when I get sick. My mouth dries out, and then my lips crack and start to bleed. I find that putting a TON of lip balm before I go to sleep helps a whole lot (even put it on past the outer edge of your lip. It sounds gross, but it really helps keep your lips and mouth moisturized while you sleep). And drink lots of water or liquids. That will help as well.

Sounds like you had a high temp.
I think you will be alright if it doesn't go high again.
