it could be anything from internal hemorroids to colitis or crohns disease for someone your age. worse case scenario blood can be a sign of gi bleed or cancer, but i doubt at age 19 you have cancer. gi bleeds, colitis, crohns can all be managed and treated. colitis and crohns are chronic inflammatory diseases of the bowel. stress can make it worse and certain foods. it will be ok. good luck.

Could be a number of things. Continue going to the doctor and try not to worry too much about it. He will tell you when to start worrying.
Rectal bleeding is often the most common cause of blood in the stool, sometimes it just rips a little when coming out. It is because the stool is very hard.
A good way of knowing the difference is blood from tearing will normally be visial on the stool, blood from something GI related will be darker blood. (old blood so to speak)
Drink lots of water, eat fiber.
