too much boo berry ceral?
eat the count chocula and it'll be brown like everybody else's.

no poo has a tendency to change colour when u eat something with pigment
possibly beetroots?
it can also change colour in polluted areas... but it isnt dangerous

"It's normally a shade of orange?" Orange is just as bad as purple. Are you 10?

You should have seen a doctor when it was orange!

I'm thinking you had food with purple/blue dye in it.. If you eat too much of it it will cause your BM's to be a different color.. But to be on the safe side call your doctor..

Please go see a Dr.!!!!!!

Poo, or feces, is normally colored by the residue of bile pigments. These are basically black, brown, and yellow. After that it is colored by foods eaten. It is possible to have off yellow or faint orange.

Now, a shade of lilac is concerning, yes. Was it truly lilac or maybe kind of like currant jelly? If not, I suspect it was something you ate, such as grape Kool Aid. [no Jim Jones jokes, please]

If this recurs, or if you are experiencing severe cramping abdominal pain, or night sweats and weight loss, please see a physician.

i dont think its a big problem
someone answered if u ate a lot of blue berry he was almost rite coz if u eat alot of blue bery or something purple then it must be like tht other wise some other problem
like if u eat the whole packet of cheetos flaming hot chips then ur poo shall be red!!!!

The color of our stools and urine do not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with us. Most of the time it's the kinds of foods we eat . Or the kinds of meds even vitamins we take. Eating BEETS; blueberries, blackberries; rhubarbs, and purple cabbage can contribute to black; purple or light shade lilac colored stools. Green leafy vegetables can contribute to the greenish color

Have you consumed some colored candy such as dark licorice and jelly beans? The artificial food colorings or dyes might be the culprit. Tomatoes and strawberries can give them a reddish color. Green leafy vegetables can contribute to the greenish color

The recent use of certain meds such as laxatives, pepto-bismol, and Vitamins esp B complex and carotene can also cause dark yellow or orange color. Meds like antibiotics and rifampin and warfarin can also cause the stools to appear orange. Diarrhea can make them yellowish.

The normal color of stools should be yellowish brown.. That means digestion has taken place by the presence of bile.(produced by the liver) - steatorrhea. Black stools don't always indicate blood either.

What you should be concerned is when there is blood in the stools or if there is a color change. And there has to be more than one occurrence. You should also be concerned if your stools appear pale in color accompanied by jaundice. This might indicate liver failure, or possibly biliary obstruction. .
