Another weird question......anyone can answer....?!

Question: So this is a rumor I heard and it seems to be starting to happen to me. I heard that if you masturbate enough that the penis will start bending to one side. Is it a rumor and why does it do that?

You do have 2 hands...Make good use of both of them. And to ensure that this doesn't result in too much of an upward bend 3 times a week do it while standing on your head!

That is a rumor.

Curvature is just genetic.

Switch hands to prevent it.

Look at the bright side. Now when someone asks you "How's it hanging", you can honestly say it's hanging to the left (or right) depending on your curve.

i can tell you from 10 years of experience that is true!

Nope, I get a kink........

I think it has to be a rumor, because there are many ways to masturbate and not all of them place the same type of pressure on the penis. So unless you are asking about one specific way, I don't see how it could be true. Even if you are talking about one specific way, it still doesn't make sense. After all, you use one index finger for pointing much more than the other, and that has no effect on the finger's appearance.

You must have been to hard on your tools.

You might have superficial thrombophlebitis of the penis (an uncommon disease known as Mondor's disease). This is an inflammatory reaction to a clot within the vein. This subsequently causes blockages and dilation of the vein. It is typically painless, but can be painful. In studies, patients were noted to have thrombophlebitis after a prolonged sexual act with or without intercourse. It was described as cord-like thickening of the superficial penis veins.

Diagnosis is via ultrasound which shows blockage of the vessels. Treatment is with anti-inflammatories (i.e. aspirin or ibuprofen) and most resolve within 4-6 weeks. If it persists, then surgery may be necessary. A referral to a urologist would be reasonable to take a look at it.
