Phobias?????????!
Question: Ok i am afraid to take pills. Like im afraid that im gonna choke.
yeah when i was sick, my mom gave me this pill, and it was a pretty small pill, like a regular size, and i was afraid, so she dissolved it, to like half the size, and i still didn't swallow it!
What are ways to help me swallow pills? How should i do it? like with what food?

i learned to take mine with the pill inside cheese or bread and swallow it with milk
i had the same problem when i was little... my mother just put honey on it and i ended up swallowing the pill
i used to have the same phobia, and i couldn't swallow pills for anything. i learned by taking a drink of water and while the water was still in my mouth i threw the pill into the back of my throat and swallowed with an immidiate drink of water after to make sure it went down. it gets easier as you go.. good luck
just keep telling yourself that It's not a food, tell it to yourself over and over again, then place it on the center of your tongue and swallow with a medium size glass of water, you don't want too much otherwise you could throw up.
First, it's not a phobia, don't pathologize it. It's just a fear.
Put the pill in your mouth...make sure your mouth isn't dry. Then take the glass of water and look into the bottom of the glass. Now move your eyes to the bottom rim of the glass. Then drink the water.
What this does is to line up your throat so it's easier to swallow.
It has always worked with everyone I've tried it with.
I know some people also put pills into apple sauce.
