My poop is purple what should i do???!

Question: its scary plz help!!!!!!

Answers: its scary plz help!!!!!!

Think back on what you ate. Did you eat any beets? I know those tend to turn your stool a dark red/purply color. I think maybe this might just be the case. Did you drink a large amount of anything with coloring in it? It really just sounds like it had something to do with something you ate. I would worry more when there's pain and if you think this could be caused by blood which more then likely would show up as being red not purple. If your truly worried, see a doctor.

Could it been from your diet? If not you should get an appointment with a doctor and they will take a stool sample.

Did you eat any of the following : Grapes, rasberries, blueberries, excessive grape or purple colored drinks, or any other food that was purple? If you did, it's because of the coloring in the food, and it's normal.

make it into the shape of Barney ?????

It's probably something you ate, mine turns red when I eat red velvet cake.

where are you from poop is brown

ya... im sure it was

Actually don't panic it will pass.Having purple poop is an indication of a food coloring allergy.I have the same exact one and have learned to stay away from birthday cakes that have blue/purples to it.And drinks such as kool aid and so on that also have these colors...Drink more water to help flush it out of your system faster:)

Hope That Helps,
M.G

It's not possible, unless something you ate didn't digest all the way. When it comes out, there's a reason it's brown. Among other things, the food is stripped of colour going through your system.

Well Either You A Serious Malfunction In Your System Or You Ate Something.

I Know When I Eat Rainbow Sherbert From TCBY ( The Ice Cream Place ) My Poop Ranges From Blue, Green, And Yellow.....

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...

Dont panic yet. Think of what you have eaten and drank in the last 3 days. A lot of times its just food coloring from gatorade or other soft drinks. If ate prunes or colored candies...same thing.
