You need to go to school. It doesn't help to stay home and lay around. That only makes it harder to sleep at night. I agree with the exercise suggestion. If you run, walk, bike, whatever, for 40-60 minutes a day, you'll be tired.

And, why drink gingerale? It's full of sugar which you don't need. Drink only water and a couple cups of fruits juices and/or milk a day. Stay away from simple sugars like soda, white bread, candy, baked goods. Eat some protein and healthy fat in the evening before bed (reduced fat pb on whole wheat bread or crackers, piece of low-fat cheese; whole grain cereal with some skim milk).

Get a book and read a bit before you go to sleep. Stop worrying about getting enough sleep, and do not nap during the day. You should get back on a good schedule in no time.

It will take time to get back on schedule. Give it a week, sticking to the plan. If things don't improve, get a check-up. :) Report It
