No not at all, If you worrying about its length then perhaps you may want to trim it every once and awhile. Or if you Think your Girlfriend Finds it unattractive Then you should perhaps talk to her. Otherwise No Its not Harmful in the slightest bit. Unless you get one pulled out in your zipper that is, the it would just plain Hurt XD
