Can you use regular vick's salve on a four year old who has a head and chest!
Question: I know they have a child's formula of the salve, but we don't have any on hand. However, we do have the regular container. My four year old has a croupy cough and I was thinking of using the vick's on her chest. Thanks ahead of time for responses.

Yes, and try putting it on his feet, then put socks on him before bed & it helps with cough. I know it sounds crazy, but I've heard it works.
