?What can I do?!

Question: I've had acne since I was 13.
I'm 15 now, and I rarely get pimples anymore; just the occasional breakouts.
What I need help with is the spots. They are like dark brown spots on my forehead, chin, sideburns, and cheeks.
I've tried EVERYTHING. Nothing seems to help for the spots.
It's not the bumps, it's the spots that I need help with.
I've never really popped my pimples, or touched them. I think that the spots come from me being caramel-complected.
What can I do to remove them? My skin also gets dry, and then it gets oily. O_o

don't tell me to use:
mederma - severely dried my skin.
proactiv - doesn't work on my spots.
vitamin e - gave me more pimples and made spots darker.

thnx :]

also, dermatologist is not an option because my mom refuses to let me go.

Acne formation (clinically called ACNE VULGARIS) at your age is a normal process & is activated by androgens which are genetically expressed.
Theoritically the drug of choice are Tetracycline & Doxycycline, but in clinical trials high doses of Erythromycine are proved to be more safe & effective.

You are adviced to use Erythromycine 250mg with dosage of 2 tablets three times a day (total 6 tablets/day) for 2-3 weeks.
Erythromycine 500mg tablets should not be used. (this is for the safety of gastric mucosa & preservation of good absorption & well distribution of drug to the tissues).

Topical treatments are not suggested as they can cause irritation.

NOTE: ALWAYS take multivitamins when you are on high antibiotic treatment.
Food do not cause or exacerbate acne.
Acne soaps are helpful but should be used in a monitored way as you also have the problem of Dryness.
