Will Blue Cross PPO cover me for hearing aid?!
Question: I think i am having a hearing lost, just found that out recently... If i go to the doctor to check if i have hearing lost and if i do, willl Blue Cross cover some $$$ for me to get a hearind aid? Right now i have Blue Cross PPO 2 ($40 a month with my company benefits)

it should, it just depends on the plan you chose and if the Doctor your are seeing is within network with your policy. Usually you'll still have to pay a small amount like 20% of the full cost
being the customer it is your duty to check on these things because the insurance company won't do that for you, and neither will the doctors office. You'll have to call Blue Cross and speak with someone and give them the specifics abou the hearing aid to see if they will cover it. Good luck, we all know how insurance companies are.
I can tell you that there are as many Blue Cross plans as there are people (or it seems that way... lol) so you need to call the number on the back of your card and find out. 'tain't no other way to know for sure.
Probably not. I don't know of anyone who can get their insurance to cover hearing aids. My dad had to pay for his and so did my cousin and uncle. Their not cheap either. Good luck to you.
