Have a hard time falling asleep, any suggestions?!

Question: Hey, i have the same problem. If your like me and your under a fair bit of stress, then i would defo recommend having a bath about an hour or so before you go to bed, not a shower. The hot water relaxes the muscles, and so makes you physically calm down. Get some scented bath oils too, maybe some candles to help you wind down mentally. Once you've dried off etc, just lay in bed and watch some tv for a while, or read a book, maybe even listen to some music. This is something that i've started to do, as i've had trouble getting to and having a good night sleep for about 2/3 weeks now,and its starting to work! :)

All the best, hope this helps

Me to. I didnt want to use sleeping tablets but I found these great pills you buy over the counter at the pharmacy called Dolased or Fiorinal. They are for bad pain eg migraines but they also have a relaxant in them. I only use them occassionaly when im desperate but they work brilliantly. You do feel a bit dopey in the morning but for me its worth it because I have a great night rest. Are you in Australia?? If not the tablets may be called something else where you live. Maybe google and check.

then dont sleepppppppppppppp
haha ha ha haha h

omg i have insominia too
i know
go to sleep that normal time you go to sleep even if its like at midnight
but each day wake up at 5am
do that for 2 weeks
you'll see, it'll help
it'll make you go to sleep faster

Try to make your environment free of stress, including t.v. Read some light music. If you have tried most of this and are still having a hard time falling asleep then you may need to take something. There are some great natural remedies out if yo don't want to take prescription meds. One that worked great for me was Valerian Root. light Valium like feeling. Just kind of lulls you off. Are you stressed out at work? That can be a major factor in keeping you up. Also if you are worker outer and do late workouts those too can keep you up.
