Upper GI being done tomorrow. help?!
Question: i'm having an upper gi done tomorrow. i'm kinda nervous the doctor thinks i have an ulcer. i'm really bad with swallowing things that don't taste good. will i have a problem swallowing the barium? are there any other parts of the test that are uncomfortable or unpleasant? thanks alot.

out of all honestly i thought it was kind of fun when i had mine done. people may make it sound bad but it really isnt. it doesnt taste half bad and there really arent any that are uncomfortable or unpleasent. just let the doctors know that you have trouble and they will cut you some slack. i was REALLY nervous also but in all honesty i was kind of mad when it was over cuz i had fun! but REMEMBER TO DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER AFTER! i made that mistake and i was in SOOOOOOOOOOO much pain!
