What Can Cause a Inner Ear Infection?!

Question: I've allways had ear infections since I was a baby, but recently I haven't been able to walk straight and been getting the dizzy flashes. People are telling me that it has somthing to do with my ears. Do you know what causes ear infections? I'm planing on seeing a doctor this week-end, have any idea on what he will do or give me?

Middle ear infections are usually due to blocked eustachian tubes. That in turn is due to infection - sinusitis or allergy.
Your dizziness could be due to chronic ear infection, though it is not a common complication. You have to rule out other serious causes.
If it is due to middle ear infection, you will be given an antibiotic, may be some ear drops, nose decongestants. You will have to avoid getting water in the ear - avoid swimming, use earplugs for showers etc.
Other diseases that cause dizziness may require their own treatment.

what the doctor does is entirely dependant upon what he finds in examining you.
