Perhaps you should join a Quit Smoking Clinic.

use those nicotene patch things. my dad did and it worked very well and he complety stopped.

Make the choice.

Try Wellbutrin or Chantix.

try working out..it gets out alot of the stress and tension that would normally make you smoke. also focus on a healthy diet because then you will have more engery and feel better about yourself.. and when you feel a craving, take a walk..cravings usually only last 10 minutes so if you can find something else to do it will usually pass..and some studies show that taking a walk when you crave a cig fights it off..i quit after 3 years of smoking and i didnt use any of those patches or gum and ive been smoke free for 5 months so far.

cut down on drinking and realize it's a nasty habit...

Simple. If you value your health - 'ergo' your life (and the lives of people around you), quit smoking.

If you don't, then go on enriching the lives of owners of corporations as you slowly die in the process.

1. hard intend
2. go to dentististry and clean your teeth
3. change from smoke to candy

I want to quit smoking too, I have tried so many things with the exception of prescription drugs. I know that smoking is much more than just a nasty habit, its an addiction in fact it is just as addictive as cocaine and just as hard to quit however, I am dismayed at the lack of knowledge that I have been reading here in answers. People smoke for similar reasons that alcoholics drink and drug users use drugs. I am searching for the reason I smoke and I think I have found it. It bothers me that there is no treatment centres for smokers at least not where I live, yes there are hotlines, but that isnt enough and throwing prescription medications at it may not be the answer for everyone. Smoker's know what the damages of smoking are to themselves as well as others, its not because we dont love our children or families, it is because we are ADDICTED to it. My advice is to find out what your triggers are, and deal with that, and when you are ready you will quit, I believe that it is partially psychological. We all smoke for a reason. I hope that this can be an insight to the non smokers, to try to understand the addiction and that for us its not just a choice anymore its a need
