Answers: How come when you have to sneeze and you look at a light it helps you sneeze?

Here's what I found on Wikipedia:

Photic sneeze reflex is a medical condition by which people sneeze with sudden exposure to bright light, and possibly also sneeze many times consecutively. It is also referred to as sun sneezing. The condition occurs in 17% to 35% of humans. The condition is passed along genetically as an autosomal dominant trait.

Wow, I never knew it was a genetic trait.

I didn't know that! Is it the light or the looking up?

BECAUSE YOU CLOSE & OPEN UR EYES.

it doesnt wrok for me

Well, you always close your eyes when you sneeze, so since the actions go together, it's reasonable to believe that if one action is lagging, doing the other might help prompt the first.
