Is it OK to leave the capsules and take only what is inside the medication?!

Question: It is a herbal supplement, but I am vegetarian and I do not want the capsul. Will the effect be the same? Thanks.

If its an herbal supplement, its probably OK, but for actual prescribed medicine, its usually not

i don't think so because so many capsules are time release. You may not be getting the proper dosage at the right times. I'd keep them in the capsules.

i think so beacause you gonna get the medication thats in it anyways.... i think the capsul is just there to hold it together and make it easier to take.

Go to a Whole Foods or other health food store and buy vegetarian capsules and put the supplement into them instead of the capsule that it is in... Or next time find one that is vegetarian.

not safe. capsules are not only designed to release the supplement with specific timeliness, but they are also designed to protect your throat from coming in contact with such concentrated substances. maybe you can find capsules that are not made from animal products. good luck
