Question: Can you take aterax and Prozac at the same time? The doctor dosent know my daughter is on Prozac, she feels really tired, and sluggish and just like moving makes her fell like she just burnt 100 calories? Is someone going wrong with her? We tell all of her doctors exept the one that prescribed prozac to her that she it off it. The two drugs shouldn't interact with one another. What you describe sounds fairly typical for atarax.

However, for your daughter's safety, ALL of her doctors should be informed of any medications that she is taking, prescription or OTC.

She should be fine. There are not any anticipated interactions with the two.

Are you stupid? Naturally, it is your personal business whether to disclose that your daughter is on Prozac. It is not anyone's business.... EXCEPT FOR DOCTORS!!!! OMG!!! You should tell your doctors everything. I even tell my doctors what VITAMINS I take! I bring a tiny calendar that shows when I've had my menstrual cycle.

"People" do not need to know that she is on Prozac. Doctors are different than "people" in that they prescribe drugs. Jesus.
