Do you think its dirty to ....?!

Question: do you think its dirty to take showers before the night and not take one in the morning ?
I had been talking to someone and they compared taking a shower in the night but not one in the morning to saying

I brushed my teeth yesterday night so i wont brush my teeth this morning.

How do you feel about taking a shower ?

Washing your body is very different to brushing your teeth. When you bathe, you not only wash off dirt, but dead skin cells and sebum (oil your body to creates to keep the epidermis moist, healthy, and strong). If you bathe or wash your hair too frequently, you can get irritated skin. How often you bathe depends entirely upon how much you perspire and how active you are. You should always bathe after working out or being very active, and you should bathe more frequently if you are very oily, for instance, on your scalp, to prevent diseases on your scalp.
For your friend, they may indeed need to wash that often. But unless you've been running marathons in your sleep, it is not likely you need to wash in the morning and the night. You may need to bathe more than once a day if you do sports, for instance. But at least nightly is a very neat and clean habit. Well done!

its okay for showers.
NOT teeth.
brush them morning AND night!
not one or the other.

nope thats fine, The comparison doesn't work, your supposed to brush your teeth more than once a day, you only need to shower once though, I don't see why it would matter that you take yours at night instead of morning

That is so silly, I have been taking my showers before bed for over 50 years and it is not dirty. Now if you had sex after the shower then take another shower in the morning.

I agree... I take a hot shower at night to be clean and to relax before bed... then again in the morning to be fresh, clean and more awake to start the day.

its not dirty at all.
that's what i do so i don't have to wake up too early.
just take one right before you go to bed.
so you'll be super clean instead of having to take one in the morning.

I take one at night and in the moring

Well, you could also look at it this way. You worked all day & didn't shower at night so you got your bed linens dirty & rolled around in it all night. LOL.

It's whatever you prefer. My wife takes her shower in the evening because she's not a morning person. I take mine in the morning because if I don't I feel dirty all day. Plus I need it to wake me up.

It's completely different to teeth brushing.
Go ahead, have a shower at night.
If you have sex or feel like you've been sweating heaps during the night, then sure, go for another shower in the morning.
Otherwise I think it's fine to shower just at night, it's better to go to bed clean anyway, I find you get a better nights sleep if you do.

As long as you don't do anything apart from sleep, then its okay to have a shower before bed! If you get up to anything else...then maybe its best to shower the morning after too! As for brushing teeth - morning and night.

I only shower about twice a week. There is no real need to shower or bathe unless you look, feel or smell dirty. Unless you are an especially oily, sweaty person, showering multiple times per day can seriously dry out your skin, plus it's a waste of valuable time. Regardless of what some people seem to think there's no law that states everyone has to shower daily.

Just a quick wash between the legs and under the arms ought to take care of any odor or stickiness that could develop overnight. Then, apply a little antiperspirant to prevent excess sweating during the day.

Brushing your teeth and showering are two different things. Brushing your teeth kills germs that cause tooth decay. By contrast, unless you've been handling biohazards, showering is just to keep yourself looking and smelling good. Plus, bad breath develops over a much shorter time than body oder, especially overnight when you don't eat or drink. The two simply are not comparable.

People these days are irrationally obsessed with cleanliness and hygiene. Your body is not that disgusting; it's 100% natural.

i always shower at night but not the morning..nothing wrong with it at all..
