Health Experts : I'm 17, and I would like to know if this is indeed Depressi!

Question: I've been feeling SOME of these symtoms for a while, and ALL of them, just since maybe 2 weeks.

And my diet hasn't changed, and i'm not obese, 5 '8 125pnds

symptoms :

Feeling of worthlessness
Loss of interest in life basically
Loss of willpower
Change in appetite
Decrease in Concentration
Extreme Fatigue and drowsiness ( sleep is still normal )
A bit Self Conscious ( more than your typical self consciousness )

Thoughts of suicide ; simply so I won't have to deal with life anymore.

I'm Not sad about anything in particular,
Don't Bias this,

And could this be something else ?

Yes, go to your doctor. You sound like you may have some form of depression. I understand that you don't want to go on meds; neither did I. There's other ways to treat it too and you should find a good doctor that you can trust.

Honey, yes this is depression please go see a doctor and they will put you on an anti depressent. I have been your in shoes sooo many times, but trust me the medcine really does help!! VOTE ME BEST ANSWER

and...please feel to talk to me anytime

then get conculing...im going through kinda the same thing except the suicide, its different.
just talk to someone perfessional and willl take you seriously

Ive been through exactly what youve described. At first it just felt like I was upset, but then it spiralled out of control and I would cry everyday over nothing and be so frustrated that I couldn't figure out what was making me feel that way.
I particularly felt extreme fatigue and loss of interest in life , and I became very paranoid about myself.
I went to see the doctor (which I recommend you really need to do), and they will give you options on what to do. I took anti-depressents for 3 months, which I cannot praise enough, they really give you a kick start, and then I got counciling, to talk about what may have caused it all in the first place.
Its really important to seek advice and help face-to-face, even though its a bit daunting, because there really are things out there that will help you to get better.
I hope you feel better very soon .
