When Someone Is Tickled Why Is Laughing The Reaction?!

Question: I was just wondering about this. Why do you laugh when being tickled? What causes the laughing response?

Clearly it's a natural human reflex -- after all, babies laugh instinctively when tickled or amused by something. Whatever the reason, I'm grateful for it -- it's one of the many things that fascinated me about tickling years ago, and now I can't seem to get enough of it!

I don't knoww!!!! But you're right..... Why do we laugh??? It's definitely uncomfortable!!!

First of all, all laughter has a clear mental component. This is shown by the somewhat surprising fact that you can't tickle yourself
