Im Sick and i need Major help!!?!


Question: ok well me and my brother are getting really sick my nose is runny and my throat is scratchy and my brother is coughing alot and is having a runny nose as well
we dont know how we got it but it has been really cold lately and were wondering if there are any foods that can help us get better me and my brother have been drinking alot of water and it seems to be ok and we also have been drinking orange juice is there something else we can drink that will keep us getting better?

Maybe stuff we can eat to get better and have a less risk of catching a cold

Eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Avoid sugar, salty, and fatty foods.

-Food Combining-
If you are concerned about digestion, avoid combining these things at a single meal:
Fruits with anything else.
Animal protein with anything else but non-starchy vegetables.
Starches with anything else by vegetables.

Dietitians generally have no training in food combining, but there is a lot of information about it on the web. "Fit for Life" by Diamond is a good program, but their writing tends to be extreme. Pavlov did a lot of work on digestion chemistry and there are good studies out there, although the medical establishment neglects it. It certainly is not harmful and many people who have tried food combining swear by it (including me).

try Zicam meltaway tabs...they work wonders. you take one every three hours and they reduce the severity of symptoms and the duration of the cold. i had a cold last week and noticed a dramatic improvement after just taking them for a day. it also helps to drink a lot of juices. try some chicken noodle soup and yogurt. stay away from milk and ice cream until your nose stops running. also sleep with a vaporizer. it will help clear the air. Hot tea preferably green tea, honey, and fresh lemon. Eat chicken soup or broth. Lots and lots of fluids and confess healing.
