Yes. There were times when I didn't go to the doctor because I didn't want to get weighed.
Now, when they tell me to step on the scale, I just say that I don't want to be weighed today. They don't force the issue. There may be times when you'll need to be weighed, like if you're going to have general anesthesia, but most of the time it's completely unnecessary.
Yes, I do it all the time (just because I don't like people telling me what to do....lol).
They make a fuss the first time, but if you insist they don't make you. I'm sure they probably put a snotty remark in your chart, though. lol.

No, you can refuse. They just put "refused" in the chart. No big deal.
That is truly vain. Its a doctor, for gods sake! You dont go to a doctor and then refuse to do what he says! God, you must be vain with a capital "V".

Yes, I refused and they tried, but I told them the weight and they said fine. It's so they can accurately give you medication as it's based on weight.
Nope. I would think that doctors have so many other things to worry about than a patients weight.
