What are the effects?!
Question: i attempted suicide two years ago.
my fiance was killed and i felt like there was no hope left.
i overdosed on pills (aleve)
the aleve were the only pills i could find, and i took 12.
soon after taking them i felt dizzy and passed out. when i woke up, i was in an ambulance. i went to councling, and was prescribed something for depression. i'm very happy with my life now, and i don't need to here alot of comments about how "dumb" i was for attempting suicide. it's in the past and over with now. my doctor said taking so many pills would damage my stomach lining, but he didn't really give me any more possible effects. what happens when the stomach line gets damaged? do you know of any other possible side effects? i'd like to find out as much information as possible before i speak with my doctor. any help?

Gastrointestinal (GI) Bleed which include bleeding ulcers. Abdominal pain. Coffee ground looking vomit. Anemia from blood loss. Black stools.
I don't know of an antidepressant that would cause a GI Bleed. You need to worry about Advil/Ibuprofen causing a GI Bleed. It destroys the lining of your stomach if you take too much.
I think ulcers and pain are the side effects.

The damage should have been apparent by now . Glad you did not have 100 tabs around.
IT WILL MOST LIKELY AFFECT UR EATING HABITS IT WUD CAUSE WAY MORE PROBLEMS DOWN THE LINE I PRAY YOU DONT GET ANY ISSUES LATER ON
If this was two years ago the side effects should have been apparent long long ago. They would be stomach pain, acid reflux or ulcers. As for the meds you are on for depression you should have a paper that comes with the rx from the pharmacy that says what possible side effects are. Good Luck! Hope all goes well 4 u.
