A dedication to all the medical people?!
Question: Of Nurse and Patient
A nurse is running down the hall.
Where is she going,
Who made the call?
She walks into room eight-eighteen,
"What do you want Mrs. Green?"
"I had this terrible, terrible pain....
It was in my back, Ohh! Ohh! there it is again!"
The nurse wants to get her a pill,
But Mrs. Green says "I'm not that ill."
So the nurse steps out the door
And Mrs. Green screams forevermore.
Oh, darn, another light!
What the heck does he want?
Walking gracefully into the room,
"Can I help you Mr. White?"
"Where is it that you hurt?"
"I ache all over, just feel like dirt!"
"I can give you a shot if you like."
"Anything, anything, if it will help,
Please, quick before I yelp!"
So the nurse goes and gets a hypo
And Mr. Green turns into a psycho.
I wrote this when I was a nurse.
It didn't get any comments in poetry so thought I'd try it in medical.

It doesn't sound like a dedication...it sounds like someone who was burned out and felt helpless.
