How bad is it to hold your feces in?!

Question: At school, since our bathrooms were vandalized last year, our teacher's aren't allowed to let us go to the bathroom during class. Sometimes I end up holding it in for almost an hour or two after I get the urge to go number two. This really created a problem when I got my period, I felt it come on as soon as the bell rang to start class, I was wearing white pants that day, too. Didn't ahve a pad or anything. ANYWAY...

Is it really bad for you? Sometimes I feel sick to my stomach after I hold it in for a few hours, and then I try to go and I can't.

Yes, it's really bad to hold it in, especially if you're doing it often. You could get urinary track or intestinal problems. As it is, you're feeling sick when you hold it for a long time, and that's not good.

This is a serious issue. You (or anyone) can't be expected to hold it for a couple hours. Tell your parents, and have them talk to the school to see if something can be done. You shouldn't have to suffer like this. What happens if one day you can't hold it and, heaven forbid, you pee (or poop) your pants?

In the meantime, when are you allowed to use the bathroom? Between classes, I hope? Go then, even if you really don't have to go.

Call your local Health Authority.
Get the situation fixed or the place will likely be closed.
This is a very serious situation indeed

If you do it often for extended periods of time, it isn't doing you any good. And if you are feeling sick to your stomach, that should clearly be a sign something is wrong.

Can you go BETWEEN classes? You can get a pass from one of your teachers then, and be excused if you are late for anything. Or any chance you could go during lunch or study hall?

Other options may be asking to see the nurse, and using the bathroom there instead. Or perhaps you can use the facilities in the girl's locker room instead.

Regardless, there is no reason you should continue to suffer like this. If anything I've suggested is not possible, tell your parents about the situation, and have them call the school. The school will listen to them and I'm sure would do something about it.

It's very bad.
