Question: well my kids have had ths cold ! well about 3 am this morning my 14 year old daughter woke me up and had the poos and throwing up then around 5am my son woke up with the same symptoms please whats a good over the counter medication ?

If they can hold down any fluids, sipping on pedialyte or somethis like gator ade can help keep hem from dehydration, You don't sy if they have fevers or if you ate something different for late night snack, or if any friends have the flu....Kaapectate can help with the poos, if they have them for more than 3 or 4 times, and any medication that says ANTI EMETIC on it should help stop barfing, your pharmacist can guide you to which might be best for age of children, if this lasts more than 24 hours or temps rise above 102.5 you will need to see a Doc in a walk in clinic or at your Docs office, IF you are lucky you go to a Doc that always has someone on call for you to reach in emergency.. If they seem to get lots worse it is a week end you may be stuck with an ER call if you have no walk in clinics in your area.
I think with those symptoms you should consult a medical professional. It could be food poising for all we know.
