Chest hurts when I cough?!
Question: I have a pretty bad cold and everytime i move or cough i get a pain in my chest. What is causing this?

Could be bronchitis..I've never had this, but I know some people that have and this is what happened to them.
But, one time, I experienced this also, and I went to the doctor and it wasn't anything really. If you've been coughing a lot, that could just plainly be it..your muscles may be aching from coughing so much. The doctors may give you medicine if you ask them for something to help, bc that's what they did to me. That was last November, though, so I can't really remember what they gave me, but I know it did help.
So, all in all, this is pretty normal, I wouldn't worry too much and I'm pretty sure its nothing medicine can't solve. If it keeps continuing for the next three days, just go to the doctor and see what's up.

that i pretty normal for people i get that same thing to but i went to the doctors and he said that it was not abnormal so i would not worry about it!!!!!!!
bronchial tubes are inflamed, full of phlegm and mucus.
ask for a prescription for albuterol (a puffer), which may help clear the passages

It could be anything from a cold gone really wrong to bronchitis to a lung infection or phenumonia. U seriouly have to go especially since u have pain when u move and cough. U probably have strep throat as well!
