Sorry, but as of today there is no cure for the cold. You can alleviate the symptoms by taking lots of liquids such as chicken soup, there are some lozenges for the sore throat (take as needed or as indicated by the advise nurse or your doctor), don't pick on your nose, leave it alone, just keep it clean, if you need to, blow your nose into a tissue paper.
Rest, don't drink booze, stop smoking, drink warm liquids like tea (no coffee), lemonade with a teaspoon of honey (good for the throat). And a good friend to pamper you. In about two to three weeks you will be fine. Ja,ja if you want to be mean...you can go cough and blow your nose in front of your enemies and make them sick ...too...ja,ja,ja...

I use the Zicam swabs. They seem to work the best for me. It seems that right after I use one the symptoms start to disappear and I usually keep using them as recommended for at least a couple of days to make sure it is gone.
