Long lasting Cold?!
Question: I have this cold for about almost 2 weeks now. When i first got it seemed after just a few days it was going go away(just like all my other colds do) but then I started getting a lot of pain in the back of my head and found I had a sinus infection. Went to the doctor and they put me on a pill for my sinus infection and it went away but now I still have these cold symptoms. Mostly a cough, running nose, and some what of a soar throat. If anyone else had this did you do anything to get rid of it of just like it die? I was thinking about getting some airborne of something to help boost my immune system or something like that. Oh I should also note that I feel very fine its just the cough, soar throat, running nose. I don't feel like I usually do when I get a cold.

After a bacterial infection like sinusitis the symptoms can linger for weks or even months. You are fine, but your body is healing tissue that was damaged by the infection. Tw o weeks isn't such a long time; you should get a little better day by day, but it can take quite a while. Good luck.
Do you smoke??? This could be why, cause if you do, colds and infections usually lost twice as long... Are you healthy? do you drink pletty of water, do you excersize??? All these things have a big part this........

This sinus infection just seems to hang on forever. Go back to doctor and if he says nothing else he can do , then it just has to run the course. Good Luck!
