I broke my pinky toe, is the bone still attached or is just an extra thing conne!

Question: I broke it over a year ago, and it doesnt hurt anymore. I can take it and move it and almost make a 90 degee angle [if that makes cents]. I was just wondering, is the bone still attached? Ahhhhh freaky!
