When I breathe through my nose I feel the air in my throat. Whats wrong with me?!

Question: Food got me ill and I was throwing up until all that was left for me to throw up was mucus (sorry if youre grossed out). But a few hours after i felt the air that i was breathing in throughmy nose in my throat . i went to the doctor today and she said im fine but was kind of mean and wasnt really helpful (i.e. well why am i feeling this way than?) All she said was if you continue to feel like this in a few days come back. Im like, what?!?! Any thoughts are appreciated.

Feeling air in your throat when you breathe in through you nose is normal. You nasal passages and your throat are connected, and whether you breathe through your nose or mouth, the air still goes down your throat into your lungs. There is nothing to be worried about unless it is painful to breathe through your nose. I don't see any reason for you to go back to the doctor. Hope this helps! ;P

The air passages for your mouth and nose follow the same route to your lungs. The vomiting has stomach acid in it and made your throat raw and more sensitive.

its part of the same respitory system like when your sick it comes through your mouth and nose or laugh when drinking fizzy pop it can come through your nose, hold your nose and try to exhale the airr from you mouth through your nose youll fell it trying to escape
