Are these dizzy spells normal?!

Question: I have an 8 week old baby and for the last 2 weeks I have been having awful dizzy spells and double vision, is this normal or is it part of being worn out?

This is most likely low adrenal function. There are many ways to test for this, but try to answer yes to the following questions, if you can't, look for this as the most likely problem.

Do you get at least 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night?
Do you get plenty of fat in your diet?
Are you on a low carbohydrate diet?
Were you morning sickness free during pregnancy?

If you do not get at least 5 hours of sleep each night that is uninterrupted, your adrenal glands will not recharge and this will definitely cause dizziness. If you can't sit in a chair for five minutes and then stand up quickly without feeling dizzy, this is most likely the cause.

The fetus requires that you are not deficient in many fats when you are pregnant. If you are, the baby will have lots of ear infections and many nerve related issues as a young child. The lack of fats in your diet can also cause your body not to produce the important endocrine hormones you need as well.

It is typical in America for women to go on low fat diets after giving birth because it is common belief that eating a diet low in fat will help you get your girly figure back. Bogus.

I STRONGLY suggest you buy the book called "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon and Mary G. Enig. This book will enlighten you on how to eat, why, and how to feed that baby to keep it healthy. It is a cook book as well.

To fix the dizzy problem due to the adrenals, I suggest focusing on getting those 5 hours required and also get some herbs directed at the adrenal glands to boost their health. Go to: www.healthline.cc (not .com) and order the Adrenal Complex. Take 9 of these before 12:00 noon each day. You will be amazed at how doing those two things should help you.

good luck

Get to the doctors.

No this is not normal sounds as if you are anaemic. Easily remedied with some iron tablets. Go and see your GP as soon as you can for a blood test. And rest as much as you can meantime also eat lots of veg and eggs which are rich in iron (liver if you like it). Hope you feel better soon

Sounds like blood presure

I will be your blood pressure increasing, go to doctor and have it checked out.

Take care wee kitten x

Maybe its part of being worn out with the baby but you should go to doctor anyway. Maybe they'll do blood tests. get things checked out. Maybe youre anaemic. Are you eating enough too?

No, I don't think that's normal at all, so you need to see your GP sharpish.

But don't panic, could be something relatively benign like low blood pressure.

Even so, no, it's not normal.

Dizzy spells may be related to blood pressure or circulation problems (does your dizziness happen when you stand up?), but double vision is something you want to have checked out straight away, to make sure it isn't a transient ischaemic event. See your GP or medical practitioner, rather than taking advice from YA, on this occasion.

No, you could have a medical problem see a doctor.

i disagree with everybody on here, see a dr. and get checked
out for meniers diseas or vertigo, could be one of those.
another thing do you feel better when you lay down,
do you feel worse if you get up to fast.
