Yes and I am sorry. Pilots often have the problem of constipation due to dehydration, time changes and food. We don't use laxatives because of the incident you have described.
What we do is take docusate sodium or docusate potassium, which is a gentle stool softener that shows results within 72 hours. Do not take any more than what is recommended. They are available in drug stores under names such as Dulcolax or Colace. Buy only the preparations which have the docusate stool softener in them. Other preparations have chemicals which could cause cramping or an accident. Any questions, ask a pharmacist.

Good luck- hope you are more comfortable with this advice.

Ken

yes

lol yes. laxatives make your poop looser and u poop more. thats y...

Probably. You should use laxatives unless directed by a doctor they are harsh on your system. If you have problems with constipation drink more water, include more fiber, fresh fruits and vegetables and you should be fine.

I would think so

Yes, your accident was from the laxative. The next time you're constipated, use a women's stool softener. They work better and are more predictable. They're also easier on your system.

yah...that is the purpose of a laxative...TO POOPIE!!! lol i

normally a laxitive would give you a signal that youre going to have a bm,didnt you get a cramp or something? thats really strange, maybe it was an accident ,but whenever i took one i got cramps that doubled me over and i ran to the bathroom before i had an accident.
