Am I ambidextrous?!

Question: I always write with my right hand, though when I play the piano, it seems like my left hand is just as strong as my right hand and in some cases, even faster in term sof progress.

Thanks in advance!

No. True ambidexterity is fairly rare and actually not a useful trait. It turns out, the concept of a dominate hand is important. We do many things without really having to think about it. How hard would life be if every time we went to do something we had to make a conscious decision as to which hand to use.

It is good to be well coordinated with both hands but that is not ambidextrous.

It sounds like you could be.

I paint walls with either hand, but to paint a picture just my right hand.

My dad could hammer with either hand.

Yes you are. My Aunt was like that she was born left handed but learned to use her right hand.
