No and you never will, it is virtually impossible to overdose on thc by smoking weed. Anyone that says otherwise knows absolutely nothing about the drug. No person has EVER died from smoking weed. Dont believe the public service announcements or the bullsh*t that weed is a gateway drug. Life is a gateway drug The stress brought on by taxes, war, no national healthcare system, gas prices and having a retard for a president are the things pushing people into alcohol abuse and drug use. Get rid of them and we can all live stress and drug free. UNTIL THEN SMOKE IT UP!!

no

not by staight pot, but pot usually leads to harder drugs and that is what gets people in trouble.

nope

Yes.

But it turns out they had inhaled too hard, and the joint got caught in his esophagus and he choked to death...

Pot is not the safest drug, caffeine is...

Never have I heard from dying nor being hospitalized for marijauna.

i know and have heard of a fair few people who have ended up with pretty serious psychosis from pot, and have been hospitalized because of that. As far as people dying from overuse, there have never been any recorded fatalities from pot. Apparently it isn't even addictive, the addictive component enters into it when you mix marijuana with tobacco. If you were to smoke it straight, i've heard that it wouldn't be addictive.

The effects of overdose are from the stimulation and sedation of the central nervous system. Stimulation with a flooding of ideas and images that are vivid and rapidly changing. Attention and concentration are markedly impaired. Time perception is significantly altered with minutes seeming like hours. There may be distortion of spatial perception. Secondary physical effects, aside from a speeding up of the heart rate is generally no more than that associated with mild to moderate exercise.

There is no such thing as a lethal overdose of marijuana, but taking too much won't make for too good an experience basically.

Dude, nobody in the history of the world has died has died from marijuana. Marijuana has 0 toxicity in the blood, unlike any other recreational drug that i know of - once you are 'high' on pot you can't get any higher than a certain level without the pot just leaving your system, it's a lot like vitamin C, you can take a whole jar of vitamin C and any excess will leave the body through the urine.

There are people who are hospitalised from Marijuana, they fall into two categories -1 Those with undiagnosed predispositions to schizophrenia that experience psychosis when exposed to pot (this makes up about .8 percent of schizophrenics, schizophrenics are roughly 8 percent of the population) and 2- Those who were unaware that they have imbibed marijuana and thus freaked out, being completely unprepared for Marijuana's psychoactive effects- this is uncommon but usually results from a prank, both school teachers and police officers are the most common of these kind of hospitalisations- the treatment for such a disorder is simply to calm the patient down and wait 2 hours for the THC to leave the system, leaving the patient tired and hungry.

The single most dangerous thing about marijuana is it's illegality.

Marijuana, when ingested or inhaled with a vapouriser is without a doubt the safest recreational drug you can imbibe unless you are schizophrenic or bi-polar.
