well, I'm in school for nursing so if you really wanna try figuring out whats wrong keep emailing me.. about how old are you? that will affect your average temperature. what is your usual temperature? also, did you take any medication for the symptoms you were feeling last week? what's your blood pressure and heart rate right now?

Average temperature should be 98.6 degrees fahrenheit

i think you had the chills

Average is 98.6, some people naturally have a higher or lower temperature. Average isn't the same as normal in this case, because what is normal for you will be different.

Many people have a temp lower than 98.6 in the morning when they wake up. If you're drinking anything cold before taking your temp, that will affect it. Take it again, making sure you are keeping your lips closed tightly around the thermometer. If your stomach pain went away, and you aren't experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, it was probably gas.

EDIT: the ear thermometers are not reliable. If that is what you're using, you can't be sure the temp you're getting is accurate.

could also depend on if your using a digital thermometer, unfortunatly with electronics there is always a chance it could be malfunctioning. nothing could tell your exact temperature like a old fashioned mercury thermometer. probably just faulty, or broken digital thermometer.
